On behalf of the Macedonian Association of Urology (MAU) and the Balkan Association of Urology (BAU), it was our great honor to inform you about the successful organization of the 5th Congress of MAU and the 6th Congress of BAU. This important event was held from 17 to 19 October 2025, at Hotel Drim–Struga, on the shores of Lake Ohrid.
The mission of the congress was to bring together colleagues from North Macedonia, the Balkan region, as well as European and international experts. Contemporary urology is experiencing significant theoretical and technological advancement, and the congress enabled a fruitful exchange of knowledge and experience through joint efforts and discussions. This exchange contributed significantly to the enhancement of personal and professional understanding, as well as to the advancement of modern urology.
The congress focused on key topics such as prostate cancer, bladder cancer, and kidney transplantation.
In addition, numerous other current and relevant topics in the field of urology were addressed, fostering professional discussion and scientific exchange.
We are confident that the presence and active participation of all attendees significantly contributed to the success of this event and that the congress served as an outstanding platform for learning, collaboration, and progress in urology.
