The Macedonian Association of Urology is a professional and scientific organization that brings together urologists in the Republic of North Macedonia with the aim of advancing the urological profession and improving the quality of patient care. The Association serves as a platform for continuous professional education, exchange of knowledge and experience, monitoring contemporary developments in urology, and encouraging scientific and research activities.

In the context of a healthcare system in a small country with limited financial resources, urology in the Republic of North Macedonia faces several challenges, including the introduction of new medical technologies, continuous education of young professionals, and the global migration of healthcare workers, which affects the availability and continuity of urological healthcare. In this regard, the Macedonian Association of Urology plays an important role in supporting professional development and improving standards in everyday clinical practice.

The Association actively works to strengthen professional cooperation among urologists within the country, as well as to develop regional and international collaboration with related professional organizations. Through the organization and participation in professional meetings, symposia, congresses, and other scientific events, opportunities are created for the exchange of experience, discussion of current topics, and alignment with contemporary European and global trends in urology.
